1. Prepare and mount your SIM card
Before you start installing your watch, it is important that your SIM card is prepared for use. Which means:
- Remove the PIN code question on the SIM card.
- Enable data roaming. (This is how the watch works throughout Europe)
- You must be able to make and receive calls with the SIM card.
Step 1.
Mount the SIM card in a mobile phone. Do you have an iOS iPhone12 or higher smartphone: Go to settings > Mobile network > Select PIN code > Turn off the slider for SIM PIN code.
If you have an Android smartphone, follow the steps below.
Go to Settings > Location & Security > Scroll down to Lock SIM card, click Lock SIM card. Now disable the PIN code of your SIM card by clicking on the green check mark.
Step 2.
Make sure data roaming is enabled on both iOS and Android. Your SIM card must have access to your provider's 4G network. Consult Google for your smartphone type to enable data roaming.
Step 3.
Test your SIM card if it is in your mobile phone. You must be able to use the internet over 4G. To do this, open a web page via your browser on your mobile phone by, for example, surfing to Google.nl.
Also test if you can make and receive calls with the SIM card.
TIP: We always use KPN prepaid or Vodafone prepaid. These work flawlessly throughout Europe. Please see our website for all suitable providers.
2. Mounting your SIM card
Note : Before mounting the SIM card, it is important that your GPS tracker or watch is switched off. A quick way is to press the SOS button on the side of your device for 8-10 seconds.
Always place the SIM card with the gold side towards the display. If you have a device with a plug-in system, use the same method. You will feel and hear a click.
Tip : Always use a KPN Prepaid or Vodafone prepaid SIM card. These work flawlessly throughout Europe!
Is the SIM card properly inserted in the watch? Then switch on the watch by pressing the SOS button for a few seconds. Preferably put the watch outside for a while so that it can make a one-off GPS fix. You can continue with the installation in the meantime.

- Positioning mode : Set to normal 10 min.
- SOS Phone Numbers : Insert your own mobile phone number like this 00316123456789. ( Without spaces or + signs )

- Time zone: Enable daylight saving time or daylight saving time. Then press EAST GMT +2:00 or 1:00 depending on the current situation. Press OK to confirm. ( It can sometimes take 30-60 seconds for the change to show up on the watch.
The basic settings are now set and sent to the watch.
Tip : Your own phone number ID (recognition) must be enabled on your mobile phone. If you call anonymously, the watch cannot recognize you.
4. Explanation APP menu and functions.

The menu more, or more > more settings takes you to the relevant settings as described below

Menu: More settings
Positioning mode
Here you set the positioning time. Our advice is to set this to normal 10 minutes to save battery capacity.
SOS Phone Numbers
Here you set the SOS phone number. Our advice is to set 1 SOS phone number in this way: 00316123456789 , without spaces or + signs. If you press the SOS button for 8 seconds, the watch will ring. Note : Teach your child to call from the address book menu in the watch, and not to make SOS calls. Reason: An SMS is sent with every SOS call, and this costs money. For example, 5 x SOS call is an average of 5 x € 0.25 (SMS rate). So call from the watch address book, this is cheaper.
